ZAFFERANO’S RESERVATION POLICY

RESERVATIONS TIMINGS:

As we are a very small restaurant (32 seats) we like to look after each and every person who walks through our door as though they are in our home, therefore reservations are booked on a 1.45/2 hour dining time with the tables rebooked shortly after in the first seating.

Management reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed booking and allocate the space to another client. We will hold your table 20 minutes from your reservation time. Should you be running late, please advise the restaurant at your earliest convenience.

Friday & Saturday bookings from 5.30 pm to 6.15 pm all guests need to vacant the table by 8.00 pm.

Sunday bookings from 8.00 pm all guests will need to vacant the table by 10.00 pm, respecting our closing time.

CANCELLATION POLICY – NON-SPECIAL EVENT DAYS:

We like to trust in our customers and kindly request that if you need to cancel your booking, please provide a 24 hours notice, to ensure others requesting a reservation can attend.

GUEST CONTACT DETAILS:

In accordance with mandatory contact tracing obligations during the Covid-19 pandemic, contact details for all guests attending a reservation must be provided on arrival at Zafferano Trattoria Mediterranea. These details will be used solely for the purpose of tracing Covid-19 infections. You and your guests’ information will be stored confidentially and securely, and cleared from our system after 28 days.

GROUPS:

We have one large table in our back room that we save for large groups. This table can comfortably seat 10 people and if you’re happy to rub shoulders with your neighbour, it can fit 12. 

SERVICE CHARGE:

A discretionary 10% service charge is applied to all table of 6 or more guests as a gratuity paid directly to our staff.

CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE:

Please note a variable surcharge will be applied to all credit and debit card payments.

SUNDAY SURCHARGE:

Should your reservation fall on a Sunday, a surcharge of 10% will apply to all food and beverage prices.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE:

Should your reservation date fall on a public holiday, a surcharge of 12.5% will apply to all food and beverage prices.
